I use this blog to talk about my life as a writer, my writing process, and all that entails. Whether it be about where I am at the moment with my current work-in-process or this great song that inspired a short story. Though shy and reserved in person, I’ll try to give you, my reader, a peak inside what makes me tick.
There are several features you may see time and again:
What I Read: What I Read is a feature I started in 2011 in which I talk about a book I recently read and what I learned about my writing from that book. This is not a standard book review. Most of the time I will not give a thumbs up or down. It’s about how I applied the work to my writing. Though it is not my intention to give-away spoilers, sometimes it is necessary to showcase what I learn. Spoilers will always be clearly marked (because I hate having a story ruined for me too!)
What I Watched: This is “What I Read”‘s baby sister. Same rules apply here, only the focus in on a TV show or movie I’ve recently watched. Any and all spoilers will be clearly marked (because I don’t want anything spoiled for anyone!)
Character Playlist: Often hosted by a guest blogger, this feature gives my fellow author friends a forum to talk about how music effects their writing and what songs the characters in their books enjoy and why. From time to time I will write about what songs touch me and my characters.
From the Fairy Garden: These posts will highlight my new hobby of fairy gardening as well as talk about fairy lore and my paranormal romance novel Fairyproof.
